On Saturday, September 8 the Hudson Valley Wine & Spirits Competition was held at the Hudson Valley Wine Festival. Fourteen judges tasted 67 wines and spirits.

The Hudson Valley Wine & Grape Association is proud to announce the 2012 Hudson Valley Wine & Spirits Competition, which will be judged by a panel of distinguished wine experts on Saturday September 8, 2012 at the Duchess County Fairgrounds, Rhinebeck NY. We are proud to continue our association with the Hudson Valley Wine Festival, who will be hosting the judging for the second year. The top categories of the competition will be announced during the Wine Festival and again afford the winners the opportunity to turn awards into immediate sales. Participation by all of the Hudson Valley Wine & Spirits producers in this competition is an important contribution in our continuing efforts to brand the Hudson Valley as a significant New York Wine & Spirits Region and increase customer awareness of our unique products.
